SKOM Sdn Bhd (formerly known as SK Offshore & Marine Sdn Bhd) commenced operations in 2016 with the goal to be the leading marine service provider globally by providing world class assets with a world class service.
We strive and commit to deliver the most state-of-the-art vessels combined with the highest degree of quality, health, safety, security and environmental protection. In less than half a decade, we have grown from small vessel operation to a global operator, a proven track record and current fleet of 35 vessels.
Our team of marine professionals are dedicated towards reaching beyond the height of standards in today’s global industry demands. Our passion revolves around the oil & gas and renewable energy industries, we believe continuous training and upskilling develops competency and commitment and it is one of the key factors in delivering of our service excellence. We have over 600 employees from Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Australia.
SKOM is a leading OSV service provider to commit in supporting the global climate change by initiating green solutions to their OSV in reducing greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions. It is the first Malaysian vessel owner/operator to deploy in service the highest number of 7 diesel electric green OSV and number is still growing and capable of even going greener. The current fleet include 4 units of NCA80E 64.8m AHTS DE 80tBP-DP2 and 3 units of UT755CD 78m PSV DE DP2 clean design vessels.
